Dividend Update: June 24

The summer has finally arrived and with it, I have become a bit sluggish and happy just to enjoy the good weather outside. Luckily, the stock market and, more importantly, the dividends are not as languorous as I am and this month the my portfolio climbed by a very pleasing 2,8%. But the even bigger thing is: this is the my biggest dividend month ever (!!), reaching an astonishing and utterly gratifying 787,19.

This was, on the one hand, aided by a few special dividends (e.g. Main Street, Golub Capital, etc.), but also by the high, but irregular payment of VanEck Dividend Leaders ETF, which is another form of saying that this is of course not the norm. But, slowly but surely, I can feel the compounding beginning to work and I am inching closer to a month in which I will cross the 4 digit barrier of dividends after taxes, which would be a huge milestone. 

Stock market aside, the school year is finally and thankfully coming to an end and then it's time to kick back and put my feet up for a few days before I'm off travelling a bit and visiting my family.
