Dividend Update: March 26

March felt like a long month. Even though in February I had one week of vacation and I knew it was only going to be a sprint till April for my next vacation (which I am currently enjoying), March still felt like a slog to me.

This might have been due to the news and the war in Iran; it might have been the amount of work & orga that I had to deal with; or it might be because there was no real highlight this month (no short trip to somewhere; no race; etc.). In any case, I got through and I am now enjoying my time off work and am looking forward to our trip to the beach tonight. The bus travel is going to be a drag (9-10 hours ...), but at least on our way back we're taking a plane, thus shortening the return trip.

With regard to the market, my portfolio (as well as the general market) has been mostly down this month (about -4% to -5%). I'm not too worried about this though in situations like this I would like to have a "war chest" to invest more. But I dollar-cost-average all the way, so I invested my regular amount this month again. I bought a few more shares of Munich Re and more of the IncomeShares Gold Yield ETP. The dividends from Munich Re are going to be juicy.

This month, I was 1$ short of my all-time high, which looking back on it, gives the otherwise somewhat strenuous month a nice finishing touch. I am still eager to cross that 1K barrier and I have a funny feeling May be the month this year. Below you find the complete overview of the 838,61€ I received from 25 stocks or funds.
