October was not the best month in total. Work was busy as always and I'm still getting used to handing notes on a quartlery basis here in Ecuador (vs twice a year in Germany), which is a lot of bureaucratic work.
On top of that, I tore a muscle in my calf while playing basketball and now have completed 4 weeks of physical therapy (3 times a week) in order to be able to do sports again. Slowly but surely, I'm getting there, but it has been a trying month as I am not the most patient person and once you realize you can't do it, I started to become aware how important of an outlet sports for me is, which I was missing this month.
But I'm almost there; I have a week of vacation now to relax a bit; and yesterday I did my first run in a month, which was gratifying but also frustrating as I clearly noticed that a month without much physical therapy had left its mark.
On the dividend side of it, I again managed to surpass the 1K mark, which for the months of January/April/July/October and March/June/September/December now slowly seems to be the new norm (there are of course variatons because of dividend ETFs), which is a huge motivation.
